Scotch anyone? |
We have officially declared Saturday nights hockey night in Beaconsfield. We had our launch party last night and invited some friends over. There was a lot of pizza consumed with plenty of red wine and Scotch to wash it down. I didn't catch much of the game, but the important thing is we won. I've PVR'ed it and plan on watching it this afternoon. I'm very optimistic about this year's team and I can't wait for the return of Andre Markov.

Oooh, I've spied a couple of my faves there: Laphroaig, Dalwhinnie...any Lagavullin available?
Ooooo Scotch!
@Blair,
Lagavullin proved to be the beverage of choice last night. It's hiding behind another bottle.
Um, where's the invite?
Also, N31, it is scotCH!
@moeman,
You have an open invite, next time you're in Mtl let me know!
Johnnie Walker Blue? Dalwhinnie Distillers? How much money are you making blogging???
HF29,
That's the other half's collection, I don't touch the stuff.
Nice little collection of beverages you have there Moey. I personally like the Glenmorangie and was fortunate enough to have it served to me on the house on many occasions while I was in Scotland many years ago (they keep the good stuff there and sell us the crap by the way...) And to top it off, the fine Scots would sing Danny Boy as we enjoyed this fine spirit.
Cheers!
Cheers Danno!
Lang may yer lum reek :)
Hey nice plug over at Dennis Kane! I kvelled a bit.
And DrGG has a similar collection of scotch. I can't stand the stuff. Hey wait a minute, he's not a hockey fanatic either.... and he does leave the house for "emergencies" often... Holy crap, id better check for the imprint of a remote on his backside! Has Mr. Moey mentioned seeing UFO's?
@GG,
Nice shout out to you too over at HIO. Mr. M has never seen a UFO but he ran SETI on his computer for three years.......I think they could become BFF's.
Just making sure they're not the same person. I was ready to send the kids to live with you for a while.
