R.I.P Tara July 1994 - Nov.14, 2010

Rainbow Bridge

Yesterday was a sad afternoon at chez Moey's, we had to put one of our cats to sleep.  She was originally my mum's cat but when my mum moved to a senior's home in 2007, Tara came to live with us.  At first she was a very shy and introverted kitty but when she started living with my other two terrors she came into her own.  She became very sociable and outgoing, and she loved people food.  Mr. Moey usually eats around 8:00 PM and Tara always made sure she was sitting right at his feet to wait for some goodies.  Pork and fish were her favorites and she never met a piece of bacon she didn't like.

Sleep well, sweetie.  You were such a good girl and we will miss you.  You can now keep mum company again, sitting in your favorite spot on her lap.

Sorry to hear that, Moey

Thanks Sope.

The funny thing is I still have 3 cats and yet the house feels empty today. The first thing I did when I came home from work was say "Hi Tar." She is really missed.

Sorry Moey. I dread the day my little cat leaves. She's family. Maybe I mentioned this before but for years I never liked cats until I got one of my own. Now, like I say, she's family. Again, sorry to hear about yours.

Moey, as usual I screw up a comment. I don't know why my previous one says "anonymous" but it's me.

Hi Dennis,

I thought it was you, I remember you telling me about your cat. It's really hard when we have to part with them, but it's part of being a pet owner. She's better off now, she was diagnosed with kidney failure 3 months ago, she was on medication and was doing quite well until the weekend. At least we had three more months with her.

So very sorry to read that Moey. I know exactly what you must be going through. X

Moey, if/when you get another cool cat, promise you name it PK.

@moe,

Four cats were stretching it, I'm good with three, but you never know. I'll keep PK in mind :)
