I have an announcement to make. Since this is a sort of hockey blog, I have to grudgingly acknowledge this fact. *Mumbles* The boston bruins are the 2011 stanley cup champions. (notice I couldn't bring myself to use any caps).
In the word's of Forrest Gump, that's all I have to say about that.

Moey's (almost) home made pizza....
You will need:
1 package Pillsbury pizza dough
1 container of Cavallaro's pizza sauce
1/2 lb prosciutto
1 container of mushrooms
1 package of mozzarella cheese
1 cookie sheet
1 oven
Cook pizza dough according to directions on package. Remove from oven and spread approximately 3/4 of the pizza sauce on the dough. Place 2 layers of prosciutto on top of sauce, scatter mushrooms on top of the meat then finish layering with the cheese. Place back in oven following pizza directions on Pillsbury package. When finished baking (about 10 minutes) place under broiler for 3-5 minutes.
I used prosciutto because Mr. M. doesn't care for pepperoni. Feel free to use any toppings you desire. You may want to saute the mushrooms a few minutes before adding them to the pizza. The sauce is the key, if you can't get Cavallero's try to find an Italian bakery that makes it's own sauce. I've used regular store bought before and it doesn't compare. This pizza was delicious, it could give Tevere or Romano's (our personal favorites) a run for it's money.
Enjoy!
